29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 15, 2019, at a job site located at 11335 SW Discovery Way, Building 7, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, 34987, employees were exposed to a 30-foot fall hazard to ground level while installing tiles on a roof with a 5/12 pitch of a new residential construction and not using any conventional fall protection. The Cardinal Roofing & Siding Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1073171, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/07/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 10113 SW Yellowwood Ave, Port Saint Lucie, 34952. The Cardinal Roofing & Siding Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1131274, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/25/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 28488 San Amaro Dr, Naples, FL 34102.
