29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii)(b): "Incidental storage or use of flammable liquids" - The quantity of liquid that may be located outside of an inside storage room or storage cabinet in a building or in any one fire area of a building shall not exceed: 120 gallons of Category 2, 3, or 4 flammable liquids in containers. a) On or about July 16, 2019, employees were exposed to a fire hazard in that the employer did not ensure that 234 gallons of category 2 & 3 flammable liquids were being stored in a storage room or cabinet.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets. A) On or about July 16, 2019, the employer did not provide training to all employees on hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, mineral spirits which contained Petroleum Hydrocarbon Naphtha mixture (central nervous system depression).
