29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(d): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not utilized fasteners not readily removable by the operator, so as to create minimize the possibility of misuse or removal of essential parts: On or about July 10, 2019, the employer failed to ensure Minster Mechanical Power Press, serial number 89320-R was properly guarded in that the front of the machine only had a hasp with a cotter pin in it to stop employees from entering the point of operation. Iten Indurstries, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.217(c)(2)(I)(d), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1200051, citation number 01, item number 001A and was affirmed as a final order on January 20, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 4602 Benefit Avenue, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
