29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(i): The load was not well secured and properly balanced in the sling or lifting device before it was lifted more than a few inches: The employer is failing to protect employees from injury while working under overhead cranes. This was most recently documented at 4025 E 23rd St, Columbus, Nebraska on July 20, 2019 when an employee was loading parts onto a lifting device that was unbalanced and not adequately secured to an overhead crane. The load fell onto the employee resulting in severe injuries.
