29 CFR 1910.184(c)(10): Hands or fingers shall not be placed between the sling and its load while the sling is being tightened around the load. Employees were engaged in manufacturing activities at a facility located at 4025 East 23rd St., Columbus, NE and were exposed to amputation hazards when attempting to tighten sling around a load and the employee(s) sustained an amputation injury when became caught in or between the sling and the load.
