Abatement Certification Required. ABATEMENT NOTE: Key elements of a hazard communication program are the written program (e), labeling (f), safety data sheets (g), and employee training (h).

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Shop Area- Employees worked with corrosive chemicals, including, but not limited to, CARQUEST Brake Fluid, and an appropriate emergency eyewash was not available in the work area, as discovered on or about 8/16/2019. Abatement Certification Required. Abatement Note: An appropriate emergency eyewash must be capable of delivering water continuously for at least 15 minutes and simultaneously to both eyes.
