29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):    (a) On or about September 10, 2019 - Asphalt plant, employees were exposed to burn hazards when there had been no assessment to determine whether truck drivers and site workers making hookups and loading/unloading hot asphalt were required to use protective equipment.    The employer was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1146985, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on 06/30/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 3100 35th Street North, Birmingham, AL 35203.
