29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): All spraying areas were not kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary, and tool(s) used for cleaning purposes in spraying areas were not of non-sparking material: a. Gelcoat Spray Area - On or about May 22, 2019, deposits of Advance Coatings Company 379 Gelcoat, a category 3 flammable liquid, had accumulated on the floor, walls, and ventilation opening. Employees were exposed to fire hazards. b. Fiber-Resin Spray Area - On or about May 22, 2019, deposits of 4510 MVP Class 1 Fire Retardant Low Emission Resin, a category 3 flammable liquid, had accumulated on the floor, walls, and ventilation opening to depths exceeding 4 inches. Employees were exposed to fire hazards. Duro Fiber Co., Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1296222, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 11 Park Avenue, Hudson, NH 03051.
