29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. On or about 9/20/2019 in the battery charging area, workers were observed exposed to smoke inhalation, and electrical shock and burn hazards where accumulation of combustible dust onto the live electrical components was observed at locations including but not limited to: a. SP 2, 600 V electrical panel, front panel 1/2-inch in diameter hole in panel front b. BCP-1, 600 V electrical knife switch, right side 1-inch in diameter unused opening.
