29 CFR 1926.652(b): The slopes and configurations of sloping and benching systems were not in accordance with the requirement options of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1), (b)(2), (b)(3), or (b)(4): a) On or about 10/2/19 at a water main project located at 3817 Lake Shore Drive, Dunkirk, New York; an employee was working in an excavation preparing an opening in a meter pit. The employee was working at a location were the excavation was 7 feet deep and the slope was approximately 4:7 which was too steep for the Type B soil condition and 1:1 slope required. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
