29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about October 29, 2019, at the Leggett and Platt Wire Mill Plant: Access to the eye wash station was blocked by a portable fan in the area near the acid tanks. Limited access to the eye wash station may inhibit its availability for immediate emergency use. Therefore, the employer failed to provide suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes when employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials.
