29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: A.) Kold-Draft International, Inc., 1525 East Lake Road Erie PA 16511, on or about November 4, 2019, and times prior thereto: An employee was wearing prescription eye wear that did not comply with the requirements of ANSI Z87.1. Potential eye hazards were present in the work area. Eye hazards were created by operations that included, but were not limited to, grinding and the operation of a pop rivet gun. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii): The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: A.) Kold-Draft International, Inc., 1525 East Lake Road Erie PA 16511, bin area, on or about November 4, 2019, and times prior thereto: Items including, but not limited to, a plastic tote, a cardboard box, and a pallet with an ice bin on it, were stored within 3-feet of electrical disconnects and an electrical breaker panel box. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
