29 CFR 1926.251(a)(2)(i): Employers did not ensure that rigging equipment had permanently affixed and legible identification markings as prescribed by the manufacturer that indicate the recommended safe working load. (a) Port of Newport - Manitowoc 4000 Crane Barge - On or about December 12, 2019 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to failure and/or overloading of rigging slings that were not clearly marked with the recommended safe working load.
