Employee were working on the East end of the platform while conducting maintenance and troubleshooting of the West Drag conveyor and were exposed to the fall hazards of approximately 50 feet from the platform to the ground below.

The exposed employees were standing in a close proximity to the running conveyor after it was energized and were exposed to struck-by and caught-by hazards that could result in serious injuries.
