29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Plastic molding plant located at 1 Yasufuku place Lagrange, GA. 30240: On or about 1/23/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards, in that effective training on new hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to MSR-4 solvent was not provided to employees while conducting manufacturing and assembly of plastic parts for the automotive and recreation vehicle industry. Yasufuku USA, INC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1155950, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/15/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1 Yasufuku Place, Lagrange, GA. 30241.
