29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of aerial lift being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards:  (a) Building Exterior: Employee working from an aerial lift were not trained in the recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with aerial lift usage, on or about 1/30/2020.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) Building Exterior: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while applying stucco. Employees were not protected with any type of eye/face protection, on or about 1/30/2020   The GC Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1),  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1411581, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/6/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 31 Hemlock Ave Paterson NJ 07502.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift:  a) Exterior of Building: Employee was exposed to an approximately 30 foot fall hazard while applying base coat to the exterior wall from an articulated boom platform without connecting the lanyard to the boom, on or about 1/30/2020.  The GC Remodeling LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , which was contained in OSHA 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): inspection number 1383618, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/30/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 31 Hemlock St. Paterson NJ 07503.
