NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Switalas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1250885, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/17, with respect to a workplace located at 9668 Rosecroft Drive, Clarence, New York.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 1/31/20 at a roof project located at Firefly Court, Clarence, New York; employees were placing shingles on the roof of a one story house. The roof had a 9 in 12 pitch and an eave height of approximately 14 feet. There was no fall protection in use. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Switalas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1385308, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/9/19, with respect to a workplace located at 6730 Campbell Boulevard, Lockport, New York Switalas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1250885, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/17, with respect to a workplace located at 9668 Rosecroft Drive, Clarence, New York.
