29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low sloped roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guard rail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. A) Royal Farms rooftop worksite: Employees engaged in commercial carpentry work were not protected from falling approximately 20 feet to the ground level, while working at the edge of the roof without being tied off to an approved anchorage appoint. Condition noted on or about 04MAR20 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees shall always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and shall not sit or climb on the edge of the basket or use planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position. (A) Royal Farms: Employees were exposed to fall hazard(s) when the employer failed to ensure that all employees remained in the basket at all times while operating a Sunbelt 600S AWP. The Mike Cornwell (d.b.a. Buck Construction, LLC.) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.453(b)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1201793, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/30/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1041 Route 73, Marlton, NJ. Condition observed on or about 04MAR20. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
