Western Pennsylvania Steel Fabricating, Inc.- On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior thereto: employer did not provide a medical evaluation for an employee required to utilize a MSA Comfo Classic tight-fitting, air purifying respirator during spray painting; and b.) Western Pennsylvania Steel Fabricating, Inc. - On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior thereto: employer did not provide a medical evaluation for an employee required to utilize a Bullard Supplied-Air respirator during blasting operations. ABATEMENT COMPLETE

29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not annually fit tested: a.) Western Pennsylvania Steel Fabricating, Inc.- On or about March 9, 2020, and at times prior thereto: employer did not provide annual fit-testing for an employee required to utilize a MSA Comfo Classic tight-fitting, air purifying respirator during spray painting. Fit-testing was last provided May 2018. Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation. This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
