29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) New residential construction located on Lot #347, West side of structure at cut bench: On or about 03/19/2020, and at times prior, the employer failed to inspect all electrical cords and electrical equipment prior to start of shift, in that electrical cords for the Makita circular saw had a damaged strain relief and an orange 50-ft. extension cord had a torn and frayed outer casing and were not repaired or removed from service.
