29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b).  (a) J&P Construction, at 2739 Conquest Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524: On or before May 13, 2020, the exposing employer did not ensure their employees were protected from injury, in that employees actively engaged in framing activities near the edge, on top of a residential front porch awning, were not utilizing a fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of 10-12 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  (a) J&P Construction, at 2739 Conquest Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524: On or before May 13, 2020, The exposing employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in framing activities were trained to recognize the hazards of working at elevation and trained in use of fall protection.  Employees engaged in framing activities worked near the edge, on the awning of the front porch of a new, residential house, without the use of fall protection. This condition exposed employees to a fall of 10-12 feet.
