29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Davis and Elkins College, Presidential Residence Hall: On May 5, 2020 prior, the employer has not provided a suitable facility for quick flushing of the eyes for employees that use Ecolab Bright Blast floor stripper, which is corrosive, to strip the wax off the floors. ABATEMENT NOTE: Suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes consists of 15 minutes of continuous flow of water. The facility must also be located within 100 feet with an unobstructed path from the corrosive material(s) per ANSI Z358.1.

The employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization to OSHA within 24 hours.
