29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   a)  New residential construction, top plate:  On or about 6/24/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that safety glasses were not provided to employees while operating an interchange heavy duty framing nail gun which was operating at 145 PSI while conducting framing activities.    Jorge Barerra was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1470448, citation number two, item number one and was affirmed as a final order on 6/15/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Brookview Dr. Newnan, GA. 30265 Lot 418   .

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)  NOTE TO CSHO: USE THIS OPTION ONLY IN CASES WHERE THE INFEASIBILITY/GREATER HAZARD EXCEPTION IS NOT IN ISSUE    a)   New residential construction, Top plate:  On or about 6/24/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to falls of approximately 9 feet 2-3/4 inches from the top plate to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees while they were conducting framing activities from the top plate.     Jorge Barrera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1470448, citation number two, item number two and was affirmed as a final order on 6/15/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Brookview Dr. Newnan, GA. 30265 Lot 418.
