29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) New single-family residential construction located at 128 Magnolia Villas Drive (Lot# 139 Magnolia Villas Subdivision) Cornelia, GA 30531, Top plate area: On or about 11/01/2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns and hand tools, in that protective eyewear was not provided while installing residential framing material. Jorge Barrera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1480589, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 160 Maple Hill Dr. Lot 471 Newnan, GA 30265.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) New single-family residential construction located at 128 Magnolia Villas Drive (Lot# 139 Magnolia Villas Subdivision) Cornelia, GA 30531, Top Plate Area: On or about 11/01/2023, and at times prior the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet, 10-inch to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided or utilized while performing framing operations. Jorge Barrera was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1480589, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 160 Maple Hill Dr. Lot 471 Newnan, GA 30265.
