29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)Clark Drew Construction Inc. at 1826 22nd Street South, Brookings, SD 57006: On or about and at times prior to June 25, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from injury in that, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a single-family home with a 7-in-12 pitched roof without the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet. Clark Drew Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1112979, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 17, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 425 Honor Dr., Brookings, SD 57006.
