Employees engaged in residential framing, decking the first floor of a new residential construction located at 14771-14863 S. Pflumm Rd., in Olathe, Kansas, were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.5 feet. No fall protection system being provided.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: Employees were exposed to fall hazards. Employees engaged in framing activities, decking the floor of residential construction, were not provided with fall protection training to recognize, evaluate and control the hazards associated with falls, and the use of fall protection to minimize these hazards.
