29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The employer is failing to protect employees from amputation hazards. This was most recently documented at 3901 W Kearney Street, Lincoln, Nebraska on or about July 16, 2020. The employer failed to ensure that the cutoff and end forming machine was guarded in such a manner as to prevent operators from reaching into the point of operation while the machine was being operated.
