29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Grabau Roofing, Inc., 339 McCaslin Blvd. Bldg. A, Louisville, CO 80027: On or before October 2, 2020 the employer did not ensure that employees conducting roofing operations were using adequate fall protection. Four employees were re-roofing a commercial roof with an approximate pitch of 8:12. The employees were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed them to a fall of approximately 16 feet.
