The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, was not guarded. The guarding device was not in conformity with any appropriate standards, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, was designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his or her body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.  On or about 11/03/2020, employees from Universal Packaging Corporation were operating a 211 Seamer.  The seamer did not have a guard in place to protect the operator from the danger zone during the operating cycle.

29 CFR  1910.215(b)(9):Exposure adjustment. Safety guards of the types described in Subparagraphs (3) and (4) of this paragraph, where the operator stands in front of the opening, were not constructed so that the peripheral protecting member could be adjusted to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel. The distance between the wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue or the end of the peripheral member at the top exceeded one-fourth inch.  On or about 11/03/2020, Universal Packaging Corporation had ensured one pedestal grinder and two bench grinders were constructed so the tongue guards or peripheral members for missing or improperly adjusted for the following equipment: a)	A Baldor Pedestal Grinder b)	Two Dayton Bench Grinders
