29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a) Machine 1110 - On or about 10/14/2020, the cutting blade/shear of the machine was not guarded to prevent employees from placing their hands in the point of operation to remove jammed pieces, exposing employees to amputation hazards.  (b)  Machine 1110 - On or about 10/14/2020, employees were exposed to pinch/crushing injuries while repositioning guide bearings while the machine was cycling.  (c) Hammer Machine - On or about 10/14/2020, Employees are exposed to ingoing nip points of the rollers while feeding/guiding material into the machine, exposing employees to caught-in and amputation hazards..  Tecnocap, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1371899, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 12, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1701 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV .  Tecnocap, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1260920, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1701 Wheeling Avenue, Glen Dale, WV .
