29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. At a worksite located at 6500 N Brown Station Rd Columbia, MO: Employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards. The employer failed to provide surfaces that are free of hazards such as accumulation of PVC dust. Dust was observed in the area of the regrinder basement area and areas above including, but not limited to a depth of three and a half inches of PVC dust, a combustible dust, on elevated structures and surfaces.
