29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about November 12, 2020, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activities an a residential home located at 352 Sand Run, Akron, Ohio 44313. The employees were using air powered nail guns and the employer did not ensure that they were wearing protective safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about November 12, 2020, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 10 feet while performing roofing activities on a residential house located at 352 Sand Run, Akron, Ohio 44313. The employees were working on all areas of the roof and the employer did not ensure that they were using fall protection.
