This most recently occurred on February 8, 2023, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 5036 Neptune Oval, Solon Ohio 44139; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a single-family home were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing roofing material with air driven nail guns.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee from fall hazards while performing roofing activities on residential structures with unprotected sides and edges at height of approximately 15.5 feet above the ground by the use of guard rail systems, safety net systems, and or personal fall arrest systems. This most recently occurred on February 8, 2023, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 5036 Neptune Oval, Solon Ohio 44139; the employer did not ensure that all employees working on the roof of a single-family home were protected from a fall of approximately 15.5 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.
