29 CFR  1926.1051(a):Stairway(s) or ladder(s) were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, or no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided.  The employer is failing to ensure that all employees have a safe means of egress from the roof. This was most recently documented on or about November 17, 2020 at 6701 Verano Dr., Lincoln, Nebraska. Employees were accessing and egressing the roof of the residence by climbing the exposed residential construction framing.

29 CFR  1926.405(g)(2)(iv):Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  The employer is failing to ensure that all employees are not exposed to electrical shock hazards while utilizing extension cords attached to power tools. This was most recently documented on or about November 17, 2020 at 6701 Verano Dr., Lincoln, Nebraska. The employees were utilizing an electrical extension cord where the strain relief device had pulled away from the cord.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment being used did not used meet the requirements specified in Z 87.1-1968:   The employer is failing to protect employees from eye injuries associated with operating pneumatic staple guns. This was most recently documented on or about November 17, 2020 at a residential construction jobsite located at 6701 Verano Dr., Lincoln, Nebraska. Employees were operating pneumatic staple guns while performing roofing activities without the use of eye protection.  Megas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1424796, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 830 Hickory Hill Ln, Lincoln NE 68521.

This was most recently documented on or about November 17, 2020 at 6701 Verano Dr., Lincoln, Nebraska when employees were observed working on a residential structure. The employees where installing shingles while working at a heights of over 6 feet without fall protection.  Megas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1424796, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 830 Hickory Hill Ln, Lincoln NE 68521.  Megas Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1444674, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/27/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 6735 Monarch Dr, Lincoln NE 68516.
