The employer did not ensure the employee retained the knowledge and skills for the use of fall protection, thereby exposing the worker to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet from the lower level.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s) (a) On or about December 3, 2020, at the worksite located at W143 N1139 Wrenwood Drive, Germantown, WI 53022, an employee was conducted sheathing work on the roof of a residential building without fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the lower level. The employer did not conduct regular inspections of the worksite to ensure employees were protected from recognized hazards. The K & H Construction , LLC company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1225846, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at N70 W27712 Leslie Lane, Merton, WI 53056.
