29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  At the jobsite located at 15310 W 171 Place in Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to electrical shock hazards, in that the protective layer was pulling away from the connector on an extension cord that was utilized to provide power to a Skilsaw.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  At the jobsite located at 15310 W 171 Place in Olathe, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 13 feet to the ground below in that fall protection was not provided.  Jhony's Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1482340, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/29/21, with respect to a workplace located at 12515 Long Street, Overland Park, KS.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  Employees engaged in residential framing activities at the jobsites located at 15310 W 171 Place in Olathe, KS, were exposed to falls from approximately 12 feet from the working platform to the ground below, in that the aluminum ladder used to access the roof did not extend 3 feet from the eave of the roof.  Jhony's Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1482340, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/29/21, with respect to a workplace located at 12515 Long Street, Overland Park, KS.
