On or about 01/26/2021, at various roofing sites, employees are exposed to gasoline, roofing cement containing petroleum distillates and other roof installation chemical products. A written hazard communication program was not developed, maintained and implemented at the workplace.

On or about 01/26/2021 at various roofing sites, employees were exposed to gasoline, roofing cement containing petroleum distillates and other roof installation chemical products. Safety Data Sheets were not maintained at the workplace to provide employees information on the hazardous chemicals used.

29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  a. On or about 01/26/2021, at 2423-2453 Earlwood Ct, Brandon, FL 33510, subcontractor employees were exposed to fall hazards up to 20 feet high, head injuries, eye injuries and did not extend ladders at least 3 feet above the landing surface during roofing work where the work was conducted by a crew which did not receive proper training on fall protection as well as safety requirements during roofing work.
