29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and did not provide for the firefighting equipment as specified in this subpart: a) Walden Development Lot 46 Harbeson, DE 19951: On or about March 2, 2021, the employer did not provide any type of fire protection program to ensure that proper fire protection was addressed and the employees knew what to do in the event of a fire.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Walden Development Lot 46 Harbeson, DE 19951: On or about March 2, 2021, the employer failed to ensure each subcontractor's employee was protected from falls standing at the edge of the deck with an approximate fall height of 14 feet. The site general contractor was parked and sitting adjacent to the home for more than 5 minutes in full view of the subcontractors completing the work.
