29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(i): Suitability for installation and use in conformity with the provisions of this subpart; Note to paragraph (b)(1)(i) of this section: Suitability of equipment for an identified purpose may be evidenced by listing or labeling for that identified purpose. a) On or about March 3, 2021, the drop pendant electrical outlet box, which had the Cummins Drill Press SN#29567 and Palmgren 2" Belt Grinder plugged into the receptacle, was not suitable for installation as it was designed to be used as a wall mounted outlet.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii):Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. a) On or about March 3, 2021, the power cord to the Cummins Drill Press SN#29567 did not have strain relief at the plug or the entry point into the machine.
