On or about March 3, 2021, employees were exposed to unguarded floor openings along the sides of the internal walkway of the Paint Line 2 parts washer. The openings were directly above an approximately 160 degree Fahrenheit wash tank that contained a 3% potassium hydroxide solution, thereby exposing employees to a serious burn hazard.
