29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a) Sorias Custom Exteriors LLC located at 2395 Onandaga Drive, Upper Arlington, OH 43221: On and preceding March 22, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees wore eye protection while utilizing pneumatic nail guns. Workers were installing roofing shingles using pneumatic nail guns powered at 90-120 psi without the use of eye protection. The following condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards to the eyes. Sorias Custom Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1494158, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 12, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 420 Olive Street CALDWELL, OH, 43724.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Sorias Custom Exteriors LLC located at 2395 Onandaga Drive, Upper Arlington, OH 43221: On and preceding March 22, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower level were protected from falls. Roofers were installing shingles on a roof that varied from 10-20 feet. The employees were not utilizing proper fall protection which exposed them to falls up to 20 feet. Sorias Custom Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1494158, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 12, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 420 Olive Street CALDWELL, OH, 43724. Sorias Custom Exteriors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1475215, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1571 Shyville Rd, Logan, OH 43138.
