29 CFR 1910.28(b)(11)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each flight of stairs having at least 3 treads and at least 4 risers is equipped with stair rail systems and handrails as described in 29 CFR 1910.28 Table D-2-Stairway Handrail Requirements.  The employer does not ensure stairs ways with 4 risers had handrails, exposing employees to the hazard of fallings.  This violation was observed on or about March 24, 2021 in the truck beds wash bay, an employee was exposed to a fall of approximately 30" on stairs leading to work platform that was not equipped with handrails.         Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure employees are protected from fall hazards.
