29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about May 12, 2021, and at times prior, the battery receiving and processing area was not equipped with a suitable eye wash facility based on potential exposure to caustic substances including battery acid. b) On or about May 12, 2021, and at times prior, the vehicle preparation area was not equipped with a suitable eye wash facility based on potential exposure to caustic substances including battery acid and other motor vehicle fluids. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
