29 CFR 1910.95(j)(2):Hearing protectors did not attenuate employee exposure at least to an 8-hour time-weighted average of 90 decibels as required by 29 CFR 1910.95(b): a) Birdsboro Kosher Farms - 1100 Lincoln Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 - An employee in the Pick Room was exposed to 105.7 dba Time Weighted Average over an 8 hour workday. The employer did not ensure that issued hearing protection was rated to reduce employee exposure below 90 decibels as required by the standard, on or about April 8, 2021. b) Birdsboro Kosher Farms - 1100 Lincoln Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 - An employee in the Kill Room was exposed to 105 dba Time Weighted Average over an 8 hour workday. The employer did not ensure that issued hearing protection was rated to reduce employee exposure below 90 decibels as required by the standard, on or about April 8, 2021. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
