29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about May 20, 2021, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing commercial roofing operations, ten (10) feet eleven (11) inches above ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. J & K Enterprises of Chicago, Inc. dba J & K Home Improvement & Restoration was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1420367, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on August 20, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 611 Wakeman Ave. in Wheaton, Illinois.
