1910.212(a)(4) Revolving drum(s), barrel(s), or container(s) were not guarded by enclosure(s) which were interlocked with the drive mechanism so that the barrel(s), drum(s), or container(s) could not revolve unless the enclosure(s) were in place: 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: The employer is failing to ensure that employees were protected from the hazards of mechanical rotating parts. This violation was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near 204 E. Roberts, Grand Island, Nebraska June 2, 2021. An employee was exposed to the rotating drum former.
