29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) National Wood Products, Inc., at 4300 Oneida Street, Denver, CO 80216: On and before June 6, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the point of operation on the ITALPRESSE Storm/S 16-32/5 (SN: 194880918) press machine was adequately guarded. The removal of a section of fence, which was installed as a guarding device to prevent access to the point of operation, exposed employees to crushing hazards and resulted in an employee sustaining hand injuries.
