29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: (a) APPLE SORTING CONVEYOR, APPLE SORTING ROOM - Employees sorting apples on the sorting conveyor were exposed to in-running nip points at the conveyor's tail-sprocket and chain drive, on or about June 23, 2021, and at times prior. (b) APPLE PRESS ROOM, APPLE TUMBLER - Employees who performed sanitation of the apple tumbler were exposed to in-running nip points at the chain and sprocket drive that rotated the pulp screen, on or about June 23, 2021, and at times prior. No abatement certification or documentation required.
