29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a. Kime's Cider Mill - On or about February 4, 2022, the employer had failed to conduct a hazard assessment to determine the hazards present in the work place and all PPE necessary to eliminate those hazards. Kime's Cider Mill was previously cited for a violation of its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1538086, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/19/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 171 Church Street, Bendersville, PA 17306. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
