An employee engaged in framing activities climbed the rails of a JLG, 1250 AJR aerial lift to increase his working height to install metal framing. Violation observed on or about July 26, 2021

29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v):A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: a. 2 Venue Blvd., Monroe, NJ - At roofline of clubhouse - Venue at Monroe The employer did not ensure that employees were attached to the aerial lift basket when working from an aerial lift. An employee engaged in framing activities worked from a JLG 1250 AJR aerial lift, S/N 03001784 and did not have a lanyard anchored to the aerial lift basket. Violation observed on or about July 26, 2021 RDL Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1436151, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on November 29, 2019 , with respect to a workplace located at 1101 Randolph Rd., Somerset, NJ 08873.
